Here's the car in its little covered area. All the emblems originally affixed to the side of the rail car have been removed. If you visit this website, you can see what it looked like with the emblems in place.

Apparently, these cars are over 100 years old. The words at the top indicate that this car could hold 40 men or 8 horses. I guess that was pretty important when it was used during WWI.

Deep Eddy pool drained for the winter. This is the deep end where I normally do all my swimming. The lappers occupy the majority of the rest of the pool. Nothing says winter like drained and vacant swimming pools. Like all the municipal pools in the vicinity, Deep Eddy is fed by spring waters making it an ideal summer swimming spot.
