I was threatened by Simulscribe too and there customer service is horrible! I went searching on Google and found Phonewire.com who, I guess, is a competitor of Simulscribe (or maybe the other way around!). Either way, Phonewire has outstanding 24/7 customer service and Matt Rugalski personally walked me through configuring everything for my office phone system. Because they use live operators to transcribe the message, they are 100% accurate. And my transcribed Phonewire messages were delivered faster than Simulscribe too, if you can figure that one out let me know?!! Overall, they are just more pleasant people to deal with and they're prices are about the same.

I sent an email to Simulscribe's CEO, Jamie Siminoff, last night to notify him of what happened. Within two minutes I got a call back. He apologized for what happened. He was not aware of the decision that a member of his management had made. He asked his sales team to restore the service immediately. He was helpful with some issues about the best phone to use with simuslcribe. He recommended the blackberry curve. Jamie explained that he was not aware of what his sales team did. He followed up this morning with an email. I am just glad that I took the time to email him. After talking to him, the issue got resolved. It was a mistake from one of the employees. I am really glad that this situation had a happy ending. It is also fair to publish how simulscribe's CEO resolve the issue. I hope to keep this service running. It has helped me manage my phone calls tremendously. The first test for the system was my wife. She has a heavy accent in english. Simulscribe was able to transcribe it successfully.

I was trying this service for my personal phone calls. I am a principal in three real state companies in Florida with 40 sales associates. I was testing the service personally to be able to assess wether I should put the sales associates in the system. After their unilateral cancellation without notice, it obvious that I will not consider them as transcription service providers. I am now ready to try other services that will offer better customer service and at least notify me when decide to cancel the service that I have been paying on time for... Just a pitty. Hopefully this is not the way the do business....

I registered for the "unlimited" service with simulscribe. It worked OK until today November 14th, 2007. Their sales person called requesting to change the service from the "unlimited" for $30 a month to one that costs $0.22 cents per message. The reason was because I was one of the 10 people with higher number of messages on their list. My average they said was 14 messages daily. By the time we talked, they had already suspended my transcription service without even letting me know. The sales person said they had the right to terminate my account since my usage was more than what they considered "fair usage"... They also said they were not my mailbox and that they were not a non-profit organization. I have been paying my bill on time and I paid whatever they asked for what they called "unlimited" service. My biggest problem was the fact that they stopped my service without warning, message or phone call. They claimed I could still get the voice message. Obviously if I wanted a voice message I would just use my regular cell phone voicemail. I would not have been paying for a transcription service. I was very dissapointed by the way they unilaterally ended my service without regard for customer service. In my opinion this is a small compnay with some big customer service problems....
