Bah! A waste of valuable materials befitting the Age of Excess in which we now find ourselves, not warranted by the needs of future humans. Unless maybe they have big, poochy packages or something, or if they stored things in the loose folds of their excessive pants. I say smocks all the way! With big, handy patch pockets on them. Either that or strategically-unravelled sweaters, like in the Matrix. With utility belts, like Batman has. Or some combination of the scramble suit from A Scanner Darkly and the digital camouflage suit those punky kids wear in Neuromancer. Hammer pants? Bah! I'm not a unitard fan, though. I'd prefer to think that in the future we'll all wear comfy loose pants and flattering-yet-utilitarian unisex smocks. But that's just me.
