Spam Karma is the best spam filter I’ve tested for WordPress. Since I installed it this weekend no spam has made it through even after multiple attempts.

Sweet–I’ve been inundated by poker spammers lately. How do I install that on my blog? I’m not sure these work for Macs.

It doesn’t matter if you use PC or Mac as it is on the server. FTP to your server, drop the spam filter file into the plugins directory in the wp-admin directory then activate it from WordPress on the plugins tab.
