The Scapegoating of John Walker Lindh

Don’t listen to those creeps on TV and especially that corrupt POS in the Whitehouse when they attempt to make political capital off the scapegoating of John Walker Lindh. When you see their ugly mugs on TV just show em the digitus impudicus like I do, and remember what they did to him (ie. coercing a plea) they can do to you. From LewRockwell.com:

The federal charges against Lindh are trumped up charges. Lindh did not go to Afghanistan as a member of a conspiracy to kill Americans. Lindh was fighting with the Taliban against other Afghans prior to the events of September 11. The Taliban were trying to unify hitherto un-unifiable Afghan tribes under the banner of Islam.

The Taliban had nothing to do with the September 11 terrorist attack on the U.S. The U.S. demand that the Taliban turn over bin Laden was totally unrealistic. Bin Laden had helped the Afghans fight off the Soviets. He had authority as an Islamic leader. The Taliban could not possibly turn over a prominent Muslim to the Infidel without completely losing credibility as an Islamic unification force. Moreover, for the Taliban to turn on bin Laden would require them to battle his troops as well as the Northern Alliance’s.

When Lindh went to Afghanistan he had no idea the U.S. would enter the war on the opposite side. Once the U.S. entered the fray, Lindh could not tell the Taliban he had changed his mind and simply leave. Afghans don’t trust one another, much less foreigners.

Once Lindh was captured, he could not talk to the CIA and expect to live when he was put back in a cell with the other prisoners. A person has a responsibility to preserve his own life.

It is a lie that Lindh “took up arms against his own country.” The Taliban did not attack the U.S. The U.S. attacked the Taliban.

1984, still amazing after 53 years

How long’s it been since you read 1984? Well, that’s too long. This book WILL change your life. Read some of the best parts here:

And yet, if there is hope, it lies — it must lie — in the proles, because only there, in those swarming disregarded masses — eighty-five percent of the population — can the force to destroy hierarchical society be generated. The society watched over by Big Brother can not be overthrown from within, or by partial revolutions: the revolution against it must come from without and must be total. Unlike those we have called the High and the Middle, the proles — if only they can somehow become fully conscious of their own strength — have no need to conspire, no need to become members of secret revolutionary brotherhoods. The proles need only to rise up and shake themselves like a horse shaking off flies. For the proles are loyal to each other. They have stayed human; they have not become hardened or dead inside; they have held on to the basic instincts and emotions which the power elites and their bureaucratic priests have to re-learn by conscious effort.

And the other was DLA [Defense Logistics Agency] Systems Automation Center (DSAC) which is has some function related to blowing billions of dollars acquiring weapons and other systems support necessary for annihilating our enemies to protect the Homeland! No referrer with this one either.

Perpetual War means we need your children

NEW LAW LETS ARMY GET INFO ON HIGH SCHOOL KIDS:

    — U.S. military recruiters have the authority to demand that education officials turn over the names, addresses and phone numbers of high-school students under a new federal law.
President Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” law orders school bosses from New York and across the country to comply with the new edict – or risk losing federal funds. …

But U.S. Rep. John Isakson (R-Ga.) told The Post he pushed for the amendment after a school district in his area refused to provide military recruiters with information to contact students, which he found reprehensible.

If you’re reading this and you’re not yet 18, do not register for selective service. It is unconstitutional. I wish I had known better. Do not let anyone tell you it is your patriotic duty to commit murder.

Buchanan is right again

From World Net Daily:

Non-state actors have adopted their own rules of warfare to justify what they do, even as we justified Nagasaki. To us, Timothy McVeigh is a mass-murderer and a terrorist. To McVeigh, the United States was the enemy on which he had declared war, and he attacked a U.S. command post with unfortunate “collateral damage” – i.e., the kids in that daycare center. Seeing himself as a soldier, McVeigh was no more remorseful than the British bomber pilots who did Dresden.

Of Nagasaki and Dresden, we say, “That was war!” But Osama bin Laden declared war on us, and al-Qaida says it is waging war to drive Americans out of their region, as we once drove the British out of ours. We reply, “You are terrorists!” They reply: Before 9-11, our targets were U.S. embassies, Marine barracks, the USS Cole and Khobar Towers – all political or military command sites.

Blowback or Orwellian calculation?

CIA funneled Islamic terrorists into the United States for training:

The mystery about the bizarre situation disappeared around 1994, well after his departure from the foreign service. A one-time colleague told him Saudi Arabia was being used to funnel Islamic militants to the United States for training before heading for the battlefield in Afghanistan. “I got the whole story and it all hung together,” he said.

“They were running people (to the consulate) from the CIA’s recruiting office,” he said, obviously exasperated that he wasn’t told at the time. He said the entire consular operation was run by the CIA. The State Department had no comment on Springmann’s allegations except to say final authority over visa decisions rests with the consular officer in charge, not with Springmann, a junior officer. Looking back on his experience in Jiddah, Springmann said he found the idea of using the Jiddah consulate as a US gateway for Islamic militants to be “sleazy and disreputable.”

Quotably Big Brother

“Don’t get enamored of the truth. There’s no money in it.”

— George Herbert Walker Bush

If you’ve ever seen the documentary Feed you’ll see what degenerates the Bushes are. When Papa Bush didn’t know the camera was rolling he talked at length with Larry King about the types of psychoactive drugs he was on including sleeping pills like Halcyon. When I worked at a photolab here in Austin I saw some pictures of George Bush the First looking very intoxicated. His hair was greasy and mussed up. He face looked like melting wax, sweaty and puffy.

Richard Boucher, little Mussolini

Regarding the detainment of Joel Mowbray by State Department thugs:

On Friday, after Mr. Mowbray cited the cable and said he had it with him, Mr. Boucher said:

“I do have to point out, sir, that you’ve written a lot of things and said a lot of things recently. You said that visas are decided by travel agents, and that’s not true, is it? You said that this is the only country that we do accept documents from third parties, and that’s not true, is it? You’ve said that performance of Foreign Service officers is measured on courtesy, and that’s not true, is it? So let’s be careful about the facts.”

Mr. Mowbray responded, “I am being careful, and no need to smear the work.”

I’d like to punch Boucher in his smug prep-school face.
