Letter Never Sent

I’ve just finished watching the pilot of the new live-action Tick series starring Patrick Warburton as The Tick. You may remember him as Puddy from Seinfeld. Someone in IRC had it available for download. The video has a large caption that reads “NOT FOR AIR” across the screen which implies that it was either spirited to the internet under the network’s nose or Fox wanted to generate some buzz before the March premiere. The show is actually really funny and Warburton does a great job. However, a few changes have been made from the animated series. For example, in the live-action series Die Fledermaus has been refashioned into Bat Manuel. Bat Manuel is a slick, cheezy Don Juan sort of character. American Maid has been changed as well. Her new name is something like Captain Liberty or something. My guess is these changes were made for legal reasons. Anyway, it was great. I hope the show turns out to be a big success.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I’ve been trying to learn more about web design so I’m not too much of a one-trick pony with my little simple square websites. I’m working on a site for one of my co-workers at fedex who runs a small helium business on the side. Right now it looks like crap, but I’m trying to squirrel away some time when I can get down to work on it.

My car has been acting naughty again so I’m having to bum rides from everyone I know. Some days don’t you just wish you were pure thought so you could evade the nuisance of space-time?

We’ve just finished moving to our new apartment. I don’t think I ever want to move again. Moving has got to be the most vile activity known to man. It took us nearly a week to get the entire transition completed. The unexpected benefit is that when you finally get the old residence cleaned up and empty you don’t want to ever see it again.

Mtv ‘Cribs’ is strangely fascinating. Some celebrities have extremely poor taste. It’s surreal looking into Snoop Dogg’s pantry. As it turns out, he’s also a fan of Ding-Dongs.

man oh man…it’s way late. I got everything taken care of with the new host. I read a neat comic today on the web today. It reminds me of stuff I used to really enjoy about comics. Actually, a lot of the comics at this site are worth reading. There was another good comic there which used the themes and ideas of Jainism. Some of these strips remind me of Jack Chick comics. I wonder if that’s intentional? They often have a serious and heavy mood like Chick comics. Of course, I find these way more palatable since since they’re not insane. I also came across a site that had some cool stickers and t-shirts for sale. The guy is even giving away “Fuck Work” stickers. His goal is to give away 5 million of them. Now that’s a cause I can support!

got new webspace for fairly cheap.. so far, so good. moved everything and maybe the dns will start to work correctly. boy, namescure.com really sucks. i hate those guys.

tonight i added a script to the site that presents dates in erisian format which i think is pretty neat. for more on this do a search on discordianism. i also added a fake counter which i made the buttons for….very soon i will be adding some more stuff to the site. i will update the links page and i may decide to organize the site a bit differently while keeping the same look. this will involve making a few new buttons i think…anyway, lemme know if you came by to see me on irc because i keep getting dropped. hum. hum. well, i’m tired and it’s late. i may try to get someone to help me with updating material for the site because i’m going to need to get some structural things done. oh, i also submitted our url to a number of search engines..i used a neat free service called addme.com…so far i like it.
