Imam Ali and Jesus Christ

Like many of you I’ve been watching the Iraq and Najaf coverage with interest. It is challenging to try to read between the lines about what is happening. You have to sift through so many news reports to distill a semblance of what is actually going on, and you have to do a significant amount of research to achieve the most rudimentary amount of context. It seems like media coverage is impossible to obtain from a disinterested and contextual point of view. Anyway, whenever you see the Shiia marching with their portraits of Sadr you may have also noticed the presence of depictions of Imam Ali, the fourth Caliph of Islam, who the Shiia regard as the true successor of Muhammad. Ali was betrayed and killed much like another famous religious figure. See the image below for a visual comparison of popular depictions of Ali (left) and Jesus Christ (right).

    sayedona al imaam ali 3alayhi alsalaam and the rest of the imaams are the holly Koran and they only do what is written in the holly Koran not like your so called sahaba they only follow the devil . they don’t even know a thing about the holly Koran . and then whole world knows that 3oomar use to always say [ if it wasn’t for imam Ali {3}i would have been ruined] {lawola alemaam Ali la halika 3omar }
    and abo buker alsadeek stole the khelaafa from saydona al imam ali [3] because the holle world knows that sayedna mohamad [sl3wa] said many times that al imaam ali [3] was the khalif after his passing .
    so i say 2 all nawaseb [sunis] do your reserch properly before you end up in hell where you all belong :-}

    Imam Ali (as) is regarded by the Shia as an Imam, but most people do not know what an Imam is. The Prophet Muhammad (sas) said: “The likeness of Ali to me is that of Aaron to Moses, except that there will be no prophet after me.” According to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (sas), Imam Ali of course did not receive revelation. However, he had all other qualities of infallibility. Interestingly enough, he was worshipped by some ignorant people at that time. They witnessed him performing miricles as prophets do, due to their lack of faith, they worshipped him. There are many cases, like the battle of Khaduk, Khaibar, and many others where these situations showed their colors, according to both Shia and Sunni sources, where Imam Ali performed superhuman tasks. The quote of the Prophet Muhammad (sas) suffices: “The triumph of Ali on the day of Khanduk, is greater than the worship of all of humanity and the jinns until the day of judgement.”

    In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

    The 18th of Dhul-hijjah is a very important day in the calendar of the followers of the Ahlul-Bayt, (A.S.). It is known as Eid al-Ghadeer, refering to that great moment in history when the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and his household, declared in front of over 100,000 Muslims returning from Haj, the WILAYAT OF ‘ALI BIN ABI TALIB (a).

    The historical details are very well known to all of us and widely found in various books of history, theology and polemics. I would like to quote a few ahadith on the significance of the day. I will be using Mafateehul Jinaan of Shaykh ‘Abbas Qummi, a great scholar of this century who has authored important works. May the Almighty elate his soul and keep it in the proximity of His beloved servants.

    Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a) was asked if there was Eid for Muslims besides Friday, Adha and Fitr. Imam replied, “Yes, there is one more Eid which is most great in holiness (a’adhamuha hurmatan).” The person asked him which Eid that was. Imam said:”It is the day when the Messenger of God declared Amirul M’mineen his vicegerent, saying: WAMAN KUNTU MAWLAAHU FA-‘ALIYYUN MAWLAAH (Of whosoever I am the Mawlaa, ‘Ali is also his Mawlaa). And it is the 18th of Dhil-hijjah.”

  5. Salam brothers & sisters in islam i would like to reply to Hamza Ali’s statment where he says

    Well here is more shirk from the Shi’ites… How can an Imam, who is just a human, know the Unseen??? Only Allah knows the Unseen, and think about this… The Imams were not even Alive at the time of all of the prophets so here is a major contradiction in the Shi’ite faith!

    Ok when we examine the area of elm al gaib THE UNSEEN surley only allah sw has the knowlage of the unseen. In sura 7 verse 188 the prophet himself says i do not have knowlage of the unseen. The prophet in sura verse 188 you no what he says ‘ if i had knowlage of the unseen i would of made sure it benefited me. Anyway we examine THE KNOWLAGE OF THE UNSEEN by using AYAT AL KURSI. In part of ayat al kursi Allah SW SAYS : YAHLAMO MIN BANIH ADIHIM WAMA KHALFAHOOM WALAH YOOHITOONA BI SHAIN HELMI ILLAH BI MA SHAH. Allah sw says please understand this point he says; he knows what is seen & what is unseen no one has access to this knowlage ILLAH exept those he who hes pleased with or those who he chooses. So ayat al kurs comes forward & states there is a certain group of people ALLAH SW has given knowlage of the unseen. Lets see in the quran who ALLAH sw gave knowlage of the unseen too. Number one prophet ibrahim. In sura 37 from about verse 100 the koran says what? KALAH YA BONAY INIH ARAH BI MANAMI YATHBAHOOK, FATHARMA TARAH, he says oh my son i see in my dream i must sacrifice you.
    The knowledge of the sacrifice has been given to him before the event. His lord showed it to him clearly. As we no he sacrifices his son? No he sacrifices a goat, yet ALLAH SW has givin him knowledge of an event which others could not get access too. Another one nabi youseff. Allah SW gave him knowledge of the unseen. He could interpret dreams. Another prophet he gave knowledge of the unseen too was prophet jesus. Prophet jesus had two forms of knowledge of the unseen. Number one he could tell you what you what you have stored in your houses, he could also tell you what you are eating in your houses. That is from sura 3 verse 49 in the quran. Therefore we find in the Koran ALLAH SW showing us numerous examples of prophets who have knowledge of the unseen.

  6. Salam again

    as for this controversy surrounding imam ali & prophet mohammad read below please;

    Clearly Imam Ali was the self of rasoolalah.In sura 3 verse 59 to 61 surat al mubahala; who ever disputes with you oh prophet of god even though the knowledge has come to them about what we believe well bring our sons you bring your sons, you bring your woman well bring our woman & well bring our selfs & you bring your selfs the point is prophet Mohammed peace be upon him took Ali as his self. As his children took imam hassan & husayn & as his woman took fatimah a.s.
    so if prophet mohammad took imam ali as the self of prophet mohammad what does that mean. he achived a status higher than a companion he is like the self of prophet mohammad. Read suhih al bukahri, suhih muslim & trmathi its nurrated there too.

  7. next

    Hadith al mansila where the prophet says ya ali anta mini bimanzalati haroon min moosa which means oh ali you are to me like Aaron was to mosses.This narration has been narrated by over 30 companions of rasoolollah male & female. Eg Ibin abbas, omar al khatab, abu sahid al kudri, saeed ibin abu wakkas, abdallah ibin masood, muhawiya ibin abu sufyan. Its also narrated in sahih al bukari & sahih muslim.The prophet said oh ali you are to me like aaron was to mosses on many different occasions, one day the prophet was in the house of um salim, um salim is the mother of annis ibin malik whilst in the house the prophet said ali your flesh is my flesh, your blood is my blood & you are to me like aaron was to mosses, 2, one day rasoololah was with abu bakar, with omar & abadallah al jarah, they were all standing alongside each other prophet mohammad patted the back of ali & said to him oh ali you were the first muslim, you were the strongest of them & you are to me like aaron was to mosses, 3, in mecca when rasoololah did a brotherhood with all the companions rasoololah made the brotherhood with ali & he said oh ali you are to me like aaron was too mosses, 4, then when the prophet reached madina months after hijra he called everybody again he said watch now yous are all brothers ali had no brother, the prophet called ali to come to him he said to him oh ali you are to me like aaron is to mosses, another time when Allah sw told the prophet all the doors of the mosque will be closed exept the door of you & fatima. Why because he said ali is like me he is purified. the prophet stood up on the mimbar & said oh people i hear some people are jealous of me & ali , he said oh people Allah sw orded aaron & mosses to make there house a kibla in Egypt, the house of ali & fatima is a kibla for the muslims because ali is to me like aaron was to mosses.

  8. this is a proof imam ali a.s was the rightful first calipha

    When the prophet left mekka & went to madina he noticed people conspiring to do something. So he called all his companions. He said to them i want you to go under the army of usama who was 18 years old & fight the romans. He orded all his companions to go except Ali ibin abu taleb. This was on the 11th of safa. He orded them to leave madina exept ali & fight under osama. One companion started saying ‘not naming think about it’ you make us under leadership of an 18 year old? Rasolollah did something on this occasion he never did before.’ The first thing he did on this occasion is that he said’ WHO EVER DOES NOT GO WITH OSAMAS ARMY LAHANA IS GIVEN BY ME ON THEM’ the second is that he has never forced anyone to fight in a battle but this time he did. You no why because he wanted to make it easy for Ali to become leader. But did they leave madina & go with osama no they did not go. So if the sign of the first calipha is that he led salat before the rasool died he should be calipha. He shouldnt have been there leading salat he should of been with osamas army. The fact that he was leading salat means that he has put himself is his own hole. Because the rasool said if you do not go with osamas army theres a lahana on you.He didnt join osama therefore he led the salat, if we said he led the salat then there is a big problem for him. He should of been with osama.

  9. Also one more thing study the calamity of thursday. google it & find the truth

    The incidents in which they did not follow the texts of hadith are innumerable. Take, for example, the calamity on Thursday, which is the most famous of such incidents and the most abominable among them. It is narrated by all authors of sahihs and sunan, and it was documented by all traditionists and historians. Suffices you what al-Bukhari, in his section dealing with the statement of the ailing Messenger (pbuh): “Get away from me,” on page 5, Vol. 4, of his Sahih, where the author relies on the authority of `Ubaydullah ibn Abdullah ibn `Utbah ibn Mas`ud who quotes Ibn `Abbas saying that when death approached the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, his house was full of men including `Umer ibn al-Khattab. The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: “Let me write you something that will forever protect you against straying after me.” `Umer said: “The Prophet is under the influence of pain, and you have with you the Qur’an; so, the Book of Allah suffices us.” Those who were present there argued among themselves, and their argument developed into a dispute. Some of them said: “Come close to the Prophet so that he may write something for you that will safeguard you against straying after him,” while others repeated what `Umer had said. When the argument and dispute intensified in the presence of the Prophet, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, said to them: “Get away from me.” Ibn `Abbas used to say: “The calamity, the real calamity, is what caused the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) to desist from writing what he wished to write, due to their argument and dispute.”

    There is no dispute regarding the authenticity of this hadith nor the occasion whereupon it was invoked. Al-Bukhari quotes it in his treatise on knowledge on page 22, Vol. 1, of his work, and it exists in many other places with which the researchers are familiar. He quotes it in several places of his Sahih. Muslim, too, quotes it at the conclusion of the Prophet’s will in his Sahih on page 14, Vol. 2. Ahmed narrates Ibn `Abbas’s hadith in his own Musnad. Refer to page 325 of its first volume. It is narrated by all authors of traditions and books of history, each writer editing it yet retaining its gist, reiterating the fact that the Prophet (pbuh) was described as “hallucinating,” or “delirious.” But they also mentioned that `Umer had said: “The Prophet (pbuh) has been overcome by pain” just to sanitize the statement and undermine the sentiments of those who found it abominable. Supporting this fact is what Abu Bakr Ahmed ibn `Abdul-`Aziz al-Jawhari has said in his book titled Al-Saqifah, relying on the authority of Ibn `Abbas and quoting him saying, “When death approached the Messenger of Allah, there were men present at his house among whom `Umer ibn al-Khattab was one. The Messenger of Allah said: `Bring me ink and a tablet so that I may write you something that will safeguard you against straying after me.’ Those present at his house differed among themselves and disputed, some saying `Come close and watch the Prophet write you something,’ while others repeated what `Umer had said. When the argument and dispute increased, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, became angry and said: `Get away from me,” as stated on page 20, Vol. 2, of Sharh Nahjul Balaghah by the Mu`azilite scholar [Ibn Abul Hadid].

    As you notice from this narrative, it is explicit in indicating that some individuals reported `Umer’s opposition in meaning, not verbatim. This also proves that the traditionists who did not wish to state the name of the person who opposed had nontheless quoted his statement verbatim. In a chapter on rewarding the envoys, in his book Al-Jihad wal Siyar, page 118, Vol. 2, al-Bukhari states:

    “Qabsah narrated a tradition to us from Ibn `Ayinah, Salman al-Ahwal, and Sa`id ibn Jubayr, all consecutively quoting Ibn `Abbas saying: `On a Thursday – what a day that Thursday was…,’ and he burst sobbing till his tears drenched the stones, then he went on to say, “…the pain of the Messenger of Allah intensified on a Thursday; so, he ordered us to bring him some writing material so that he might write us something whereby we would be protected against straying after him, but people disputed, knowing that nobody should dispute in the presence of any Prophet, and they said: `The Messenger of Allah is delirious.’ He, peace be upon him and his progeny, then said: `Leave me, for the pain which I am suffering is more tolerable than what you are attributing to me,’ and he left in his will prior to his demise three items: to get the polytheists out of the Arab land, to reward the envoys the same way he (pbuh) used to reward them,’ and I forgot the third one.”[1]

    The same hadith is narrated also by Muslim at the conclusion of a chapter dealing with the will in his Sahih, and by Ahmed in Ibn `Abbas’s ahadith on page 222, Vol. 1, of his work, and by all other traditionists. In his chapter on the will, in his Sahih, Muslim quotes Sa`id ibn Jubayr in one place, and Ibn `Abbas in another, saying, “That Thursday, O what a day that Thursday was…,” and his tears kept pouring down till they looked like pearls arrayed in a formation, then he continued to say: “The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, said: `Bring me a tablet and an ink-pot,’ or a plate and some ink, `so that I may write you something whereby you shall never be misguided;’ so, some people said: `The Messenger of Allah is delirious.'”[2]

    Anyone who researches this abominable incident in the sahihs will soon come to find out that the first person who said that the Messenger of Allah was delirious was indeed `Umer, and some of those who were present there and then followed suit. In the first hadith, you have heard Ibn `Abbas saying:[3] “Those present at his house differed among themselves and disputed, some saying `Come close and watch the Prophet writing you something,’ while others repeated what `Umer had said,” i.e. “The Messenger of Allah is delirious.” In another tradition narrated by al-Tabrani, in his Awsat, and on page 138, Vol. 3, of Kanz al-`Ummal, `Umer is quoted saying: “When the Prophet became sick, he said: `Bring me a tablet and an ink-pot, so that I may write you something after which you shall never stray;’ so, the women behind the curtain said: `Have you not heard what the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, is saying?'” `Umer goes on to say: “I said to them: `You are like the women who admired Joseph; when the Messenger of Allah falls sick, you squeeze your eyes, and when he is healthy, you ride his neck!” He also continues to say: “The Messenger of Allah then said: `Leave them, for they are better than you.'”

    You can see that they never implemented the spirit of this hadith. Had they done so, they would have been protected against misguidance. We wish they had stopped at just being insubordinate and not answering him by saying: “The Book of Allah suffices us,” as if he did not know the status of Allah’s Book among them, or that they were more knowledgeable than him about its characteristics and merits. We wish they had been satisfied with all of that rather than surprising him with their rude statement: “The Messenger of Allah is delirious,” just when he was suffering the agony of death. What a farewell statement to the Messenger of Allah (pbuh)! They did not follow the Prophet’s command due to their being satisfied with the Book of Allah as they claimed, as if they never read the verse: “Whatever the Messenger hands over to you, take it, and whatever he forbids you therefrom, obey him (Qur’an, 59:7).” They said: “The Messenger of Allah is delirious,” as if they never read the verse: “It is the speech of an eminent Messenger, empowered by the One with the Throne, peaceful to those who obey Him; verily, your fellow is not possessed (Qur’an, 81:19-22),” and His statement, the Exalted, the omni-Scient, “It is the speech of an eminent Messenger, not of a poet; little do you believe; nor is it the speech of a priest; little do you remember; it is but the Revelation from the Lord of the Worlds (Qur’an, 69:40-43),” and His statement, the Almighty, the Sublime, “Your fellow has neither strayed, nor has he yielded to temptation; he utters nothing out of his own inclination; it is but what is revealed unto him of the Revelation; he is taught by One mighty in powers (Qur’an, 53:2-5),” in addition to many such verses laden with divine wisdom, all testifying to his being divinely protected from delirium.

    Yet even reason by itself testifies to the same, but they were aware of the fact that he, the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and his progeny, wished to strengthen the covenant of caliphate, and emphasize its being the monopoly of `Ali in particular, and the Imams among his purified progeny in general; so, they stood as a stumbling block in his way to do so, as admitted by none other than the second caliph himself in a private conversation which he held with Ibn `Abbas…! It exists in line 27, page 114, Vol. 3, of Sharh Nahjul Balaghah by Ibn Abul Hadid.

    If you consider his statement, peace be upon him and his progeny, “Bring me a tablet and an ink-pot, so that I may write you something whereby you shall never stray after me,” and his statement in the hadith of the Two Weighty Things: “I am leaving with you that which, as long as you uphold, will never let you stray: the Book of Allah and my progeny, my Ahl al-Bayt,” you will come to know then that the purpose of both traditions is the same, and that he, peace be upon him and his progeny, wished, even while being sick, to write for them the details of the injunctions implied in the hadith of the Two Weighty Things [al thaqalain].

    2) He repealed his order to them due to their statement with which they surprised him, forcing him to change his mind, since after uttering it there would be no effect for his writing them anything other than dissension and dispute, leading them to argue be he really delirious – God forbid – or not, just as they did even in his own presence and while he could still see things, so much so that he could not tell them more than to get away, as you have heard. Had he insisted on writing it, they would have resorted to their claim that he had written it in delirium, and many of their followers would have gone to extremes in their attempts to prove that he did so while being delirious – God forbid – and fill their books with such allegations, only to reject his writing and use it as a pretext for not implementing it.

    For these reasons, his marvellous wisdom decreed that he, peace be upon him and his progeny, should forget about such writing for fear those opposing his wish and their followers might open a door to casting doubts about Prophethood itself; we seek refuge with Allah, and we pray for His protection. He, peace be upon him and his progeny, saw how `Ali (as) and his followers submitted to the spirit of such writing, whether he had written it down or not, while others would not act upon it anyway even if he had written it. Wisdom, therefore, necessitated abandoning it since it would have no effect at all over the opposition that arose other than dissension, as is obvious

  10. i think that picture contain two different body but the Noor (Soul) is the same

  11. This pictures is not Imam ali (A), this picture is of hazrate Muhammed (S), dude…

  12. Actually, the person in the picture is not Ali but Muhammad. Ali’s depiction in Shiite iconography is different. He never hold Quran. Besides the name “Mohammad” is written under the icon you posted.

  13. Beloved ones who write such praise in my name, know that i am alive in your hearts and soul. I serve you always as Gods chosen servant . We are all one. Jesus is my brother in Heaven. the Profit is my Brother in Heaven. All religions and thier messangers are Gods servants on erath. Know that you too are a chosen servant and live your life in this way. Be the exaple of Love ,forgiveness and humblesness and be that you were created to be.Remember, we are all one. Imam Ali.

  14. Fool, that’s a depiction of the Prophet, not Imam Ali.
    Characterised by three things:
    1) Madinah behind depiction.
    2) Holding the Qur’aan (And not Dhulfiqar lol)
    3) Kalimah underneath.

    Please ask someone who knows before blogging.

  15. Hi Guy’s pls do some soulsearching n work ur mind. In H Koran God says I shall send my Khalifa on earth. So Khilafat, Nabuwat, Risalat Imamat r God’s hierarchy n authority alone. And all Men of earth have no right 2 appoint any of the above.  So how could Muslims choose or elect a Khalifa. However if elected he shall be only a political leader/ruler/pope/ etc.
    (Remember u cannot become Faithful by believing in God alone and omitting the prophet of the time) Prophet can only make men Muslims/faithful  but they can’t make u prophet/khalifa/Imam ….etc. Only God has the right 2 grant the said spiritual ranks.
    So the elected caliphs  have no religious sanctity. we Shia believe in Imamat, and Imam Ali the 1st and Imam Mehdi the 12th.
    Remember Only the Followers of the last awaited Imam H Mahdi will attain the salvation. Muslims ( pls Note Sunnis without prejudice have harrassed and killed the 11 Imams of Holy Ahlebait, they continue 2 do so even 2day by suicide Bombing on Shais in Mosques, the mourners of Imams in Moharram. They Forget that Allah has made incumbent upon every Muslim 2 love Ahlebait. U glorify the enemies of Ahlebait eg Muaviya, Amru Aas, Yazid, Marwan, Harun, etc. and take guidance from them. The enemies were from the Sahabas, Tabiuns, Tabtabeuns. i.e Imam Ali’s enemies were from Sahabas & Tabeun, Entire Family of H Ali was massacred by lacs of  Tabeun, & so on. We have never taken guidance from them. Prophethood culminated with H.Rasule Akram and Imamat began with Imam Ali and shall culminate with his heir Imam Mehdi.  So the world will end on Imamat. Those who forsake Imam shall face their ill fate. Th Allah has kept the last card with Him and shall reveal him before Qayamat.
    U seem 2 take no lesson from HKoran, full of intelligence. God has given u example from Koran that when H Musa departed from his people instucting them 2 follow Harun as his vicegerant, but his ummat opposed Harun and threatened 2 kill him, and they by their own choice decided 2 follow a calf. Same history repeated when H Prophet left, his ummat did the same, chose thier own leader and opposed and killed the Imams one after the other. They held bugz/hatred against Imams  just as present majority muslims hold deep hatred against the SHIA of Ahlebait.  So pls seek 4giveness from Allah as the people with  hatred shall never be liberated.

    • As to my sister Sayede ,
      How shall I put this; my heart is with you and my sword is not raised against you :)

      -Jawid

    • Sayede

      Your passion contributes to one of the pillars of faith – Jihad (which you perform with your words) and I write to you to make you better at it. Let Allah judge my intentions, for He knows best. I feel a compassionate joy and an impassioned impulse seeing your sense of righteousness, and it reminds me of another things that Ali Mawla taught his loved ones: A passion to dispute every argument leads one AWAY from Allah (Nahj-al-Balaghah). I do not dispute your comments. I only wish to make a few words right. Forgive me. You said that Imamat started with Ali. This is mistaken. Imamat was revealed with Hazrat Ali. It has always existed, beginning with Adam. And in the previous age, with Abraham, and in this age, with Ali. These are gnostic cycles of time. The Hindus call it Yug. Shia’s have existed since before the birth of Prophet Mohammad (s.a.w.) and this should be obvious to you. Haroon was an Imam. But there shall be none to point a finger at the Imam of the age and bring him a message from God anymore. The Prophet was the last one. But Teachers still come. Wilayah passed to Ali’s nafs; Ilham was made public. Jazakallah! Secondly, you said Quran is full of intelligence. I think you mean to say Quran is full of wisdom. Intelligence is an over-rated commodity. It;s like a girl-friend kind of thing. Wisdom is a man’s wife. I say this in jest, and not in utter seriousness. :) Not a day goes by that I remember of the atrocious happenings of Karbala and Kufa. Iraq seems like a cursed land, much like the Kurukshetra of the erstwhile Sanatan people (mistakenly called the Hindus). Their original religion Sanatan Dharma is no different from Islam. In fact, there is no other relgion from Islam. Even Christ preached Islam. So, a true Christian will see that Huzoor did prach Christianity, as it was originally when Christ taught it. Mysteries are revealed only to the pure-hearted. If you open your eyes, you will find Ali lives on… God is the God of the present, not of the dead. God knows best. Alhamdulillah! Sanket Shrivastava

  16. shurk, I pray like the Messgner of Allah and fast like him. I do not follow the evanligcal efforts of a Jewish man who attempts to further divided the Ummah. Faith should be derived from spiritual means, not political ones.

    • Hey Sdfdfdsf, (What a quick fake name)

      Firstly you are using erroneous information.
      You are referring to Abdullah ibn Saba’ which was a figure that was created out of thin air by a weak narrator named Sayf ibn Umar At-Tamimi in second century after our beloved Rasul’s (S) Hijrah. Many scholars have acknowledged that Sayf was a weak narrator, refer to Dhahabi, Hakim (Whom wrote Al-Mustadrak), An-Nisa’i and many others. Get your facts straight.

      -Jawid

  17. One Of The Sheaa

  20. Friends_asia

    As-Salaam, H. Prophet Mohammad(s) has declared the Imamat of Ali at Ghadir khum

  21. According to Sahih al-Bukhari, the
    Messeenger of Allah has told Ali that the story of Moses and Aaron (Haroon)
    is similar to that of the story of him and Ali. The tradition is as
    follows:

    Now, the position of Aaron (Haroon) to Moses is given by the verses of
    Quran, among which are the following three:

    (Moses said: “O’ Allah) assign me a vizier (commander)from my family, (that is)
    my brother Aaron (Haroon) …,” (Allah) said: “We granted your
    requests, O’ Moses.” (Quran 20:29-36).

    Allah, Exalted, also said:

    “Surely We gave the book to Moses and assigned his brother Aaron as
    his vizier.” (Quran 25:35).

    He, Exalted He is, also said:

    “… And Moses said unto his brother Aaron: Take my place in my
    comunity.” (Quran 7:142).                              :::::::::::::::
